Campbell's Ferry is an 85 acre homestead surrounded by the Frank Church - River of No Return Wilderness. There are no roads to the property. It is in the Main Salmon River Wild and Scenic corridor. A foot and pack bridge crosses the river at the property.

Visitors are welcome, but are asked to not enter any of the buldings or remove any items or artifacts from the property. Camping and hunting on the property is prohibited.

Water to the property is provided by a system of ditches from Trout Creek, built by pioneers and maintained by the current owners.

The flat on the opposite (North) side of the river is the historic Jim Moore Place. It is Pacific time on the North side of the river and Mountain time on the south side. However, when you are at Campbell's Ferry you are on "River Time" with sunrise and sunset establishing the rhythms of the day.
