Bob Abbott, retired Slate Creek District Ranger, championed the preservation of Campbell's Ferry
John and Mary Crowe sold Campbell's Ferry to The Trust for Public Lands, represented here by Donna McBain. Their goal was to preserve and protect the property for future generations of Americans as an example of pioneer history.
